Main Seal (Gasket) for XTS2500?

Post by rodell »

I have a no-tags radio from the far east that needs a new main seal. If it matters, the color of the old one is green.

I ordered 3285270D01 as indicated from my partslist. It is orange and does not have the supports in the right places. It also appears to be slightly smaller in diameter.

Any ideas? Maybe a FM part number for the XTS?

All net.wisdom is appreciated.

What radios do you own?: XTS2500, XTS5000, and MTS2000

IIRC they are different on the "I" chassis. The green/blue ones are used on the immersible and BN revisions. I'll have to scour my service notes but I believe it is a different part no.
