XTS5000 Channel Announcement Setup

Post by SoCalRescue »

Well she finally came in and I love it. I have absolutely no idea how to get channel announcement setup, can anyone help? When I go to click channel announcement in the radio wide tab, a pair of glasses keep me from clicking. Anyone have a step by step guide? Thanks much!

What firmware/CPS/flashcode of the radio?

The best I can offer at the moment is to really read the CPS help files. Its not impossible, it just take a little time to set it up and get going.

Also try this thread and see if it helps at all: http://batboard.batlabs.com/viewtopic.p ... nnoucement

I want to say that early XTS's required the flashcode to have the option, and after a certain firmware revision it was included by default.

I have every flash option under the sun. Firmware is 12 and CPS is 15. I figured out that I needed read/write voice files activated under features before I could turn on channel announcement in radio wide. I have had the Astro25 CPS for a day now but I think I'll get the hang of it just as I have with everything else moto :D. Thanks for the link and the help - I am judging that it shouldn't be a problem.
