MTS 2000 Firmware Version Questions

I have a UHF full keypad/display MTS 2000 that I would like to bring up to the latest firmware version.

It currently has R06.53 firmware in it. I have the CVN for R08.73.

Is R08.73 appropriate for a UHF radio? I just don't want to load some rebanding firmware or something screwy into it.

What is the last version of firmware for the MTS 2000 VHF/UHF conventional radios? 900MHz? 800MHz Pre/Post rebanding?

Anyone have the skinny?

After hearing from another member of the board that R08.73 worked for him, I went ahead and flashed my two MTS 2000's with it and can confirm they are running it and there doesn't appear to be any issues that I can tell.

The two radios are:

MTS 2000 W4 900MHz (Top Display)

MTS 2000 W7 UHF-L (Full keypad & display)

Anyone have the story on what changed from R06.53 to R08.73?

My MTS2000 UHF Top display model has Firmware Version 8.73, and I've had it for at LEAST 2 years now. No ideas on to what actually has changed, but if someone finds out, I'd like to know as well
