Jedi MTS2000 - VCO Crossover adjustment??

I have recently realigned the front end of MTS2000's and achieved a good improvement in sensitivity.

How do I tell if the VCO Crossover adjustment is correct?

What does the adjustment involve - do you just enter a spot frequency? (I've not actually "looked" at the relevant screen).

Does the adjustment just tweak the range in which the TX/RX VCO locks.

Does a wrong setting effect RX sensitivity, TX deviation, RX audio etc?
