Hello everyone,
Would someone be able to tell me how I should go about replacing the volume and channel selector knobs on the HT1000? I've tried pulling on it while wobbling the base but it isn't coming out and I'm afraid I'll break something if I apply more force.
Thanks!

They just pull right off. I've done many & nothing breaks. You can try a small flat blade screwdriver at the base of the knob, but that shouldn't be necessary. GARY N4KVE

I tried the screwdriver and it worked. They were in very tight and I was not able to just pull them off for some reason.N4KVE wrote:They just pull right off. I've done many & nothing breaks. Unfortunately there was a small amount of damage on the radio from the screwdriver but nothing major.
Thanks for the tip!

I have had a few that were frozen on the shaft. Get some cutters and slowly cut the plastic away till it comes off. They should just pull off as stated.
