Edit: ordered the batteries in March.... just got them today. Glad to see the supply chain is doing as good as ever!!!!

According to other vendors, NiCD batteries are going to go by the wayside. Apparently Multiplier, Emerging Power, etc are cutting back on their catalogs because NiCD and ROHS don't play with each other and the cells are really hard to get unless you want Chinese junk (FWIW the HNN9033 I received have Japanese cells), although from what I understand batteries are not exactly covered by ROHS, but still . . .
