HNN9033B Astro Saber has been canceled upon depletion

Some enterprising dealer bought the last 100 batteries on /\/\'s shelf 8) this battery now subs over to the HNN9034C IS/FM NiCD battery in case anyone was interested

FYI this battery has been reactivated and is available for ordering again... guess enough customers still transitioning from Astro Sabers/Sabers to justify it

Must be the same guy that bought all the FDNY knobs that were marked for cancel upon depletion and are now depleted.....:)

Edit: ordered the batteries in March.... just got them today. Glad to see the supply chain is doing as good as ever!!!!

Must be something about the Saber line. I ordered some NTN4593s back in May, and this is what I have got every month since:
Case Update Notes:
Unfortunately we do not have a firm ship date yet for line item 1 (NTN4593DR) on order xxxx. Our buyer is currently advising that the estimate time of arrival will be in early <insert next month here>. We will advise once any new information is available. According to other vendors, NiCD batteries are going to go by the wayside. Apparently Multiplier, Emerging Power, etc are cutting back on their catalogs because NiCD and ROHS don't play with each other and the cells are really hard to get unless you want Chinese junk (FWIW the HNN9033 I received have Japanese cells), although from what I understand batteries are not exactly covered by ROHS, but still . . .
