What can I do to unbrick HT 1250?

What can I do to unbrick HT 1250?

Hello,

I realize that this may have discussed in Batlabs,but what software if possible,or kit,do I need to unbrick an HT 1250 that displays cs eeprom error,whithout having to send it to Mother Moto?

You can sometimes clear the error with the latest CPS versions from the past year or two, as they now recognize a corrupted codeplug & will attempt to fix it. Otherwise, a standard firmware upgrade often works as well. Beyond those two options, you're either sending to to Motorola, or getting into 'unofficial' software.

By the by, that worked thank you.Read the radio,it said that the codeplug was corrupted,restored it to defaults,good to go!!!
