XTL's On eBay

Post by KI4RGV »

I'm in the market to purchase a XTL series radio in VHF for my truck. I noticed that none of them (on eBay) have software based ADP included with the flashcodes. Is it not common for the XTL's to have ADP? Almost every XTS1500, 2500, and 5K I've seen has ADP.

Thanks!

There were recently a couple of 700/800 XTLs that had ADP in them on eBay.

LOL - Excellent.

Next question, Do all XTL's have ADP pre installed? If that's the case, I will buy any old XTL and pay to have the flash option opened.

ADP is only a $10 option at the time of order entry, so it was usually a "throw in".

More like frakenflashed.

ADP as a legit software upgrade I think is around the $70 range. Either way its not too expensive
