Need some assistance here....
I've got a new Quantar 100w 800MHz station that was ordered with just the 625w power supply, no battery revert. I need to add the battery revert to that site now. I ordered the new power supply, 625 watt with battery revert option. It's here and on site, but taking a close look today I realized I"m missing a part. Port 25 on the back is capped with a metal plate. I need the part number for whatever goes in there that the board plugs into and converts it to the power pole type connector. I searched on MOL, but no joy. Could be I'm not searching correctly.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: Quantar Battery revert assistance
You need the Quantar battery revert cable. It will plug in and give your connectors along with about 15 feet of wire.
Re: Quantar Battery revert assistance
OK, got it. That would be the cable, but what I'm looking for is the connector on the back of the Quantar. As it is now, it's just the end of the circuit board in the hole, not a connector. Does the battery cable plug into that? Looking at the manuals, it looks like there is a terminal that should be there.

Re: Quantar Battery revert assistance
So, what you are saying is that I only need the TRN5155A cable to plug into the card edge connector sticking out from the backplane? No connector that bolts to the back of the Quantar?

Re: Quantar Battery revert assistance
Correct, the PCB you see is where the cable goes. Tyco makes the cable for Motorola. Connectors are only about $30, minimum order is only 2800 pieces or so. I have a few on the shelf.
Re: Quantar Battery revert assistance
Great, Thanks escomm. I guess I was trying to make it more difficult than it really was. I was looking for a terminal panel like on the side of the MSF5000 cabinets.
I'll check around locally. If I can't find one, I'll contact you.
Thanks again for the help!
