XTS2500 drag and drop programming

I recently had a fire at my house that destroyed alot of my equiptment. Two such radios were XTS2500's. I have replaced on of them, but as opposed to my previous model the new one has FPP and I was told by the previous owner that it has no trunking (although I think I saw the option in CPS, but I have no need for it on this radio so it is irrelevant). I tried dragging and droping from my old codeplug to the new one, but it will not let me. I also tried dragging and dropping from a XTL2500 codeplug with still no luck. Finally I tried to export the codeplug, then import it. It worked somewhat. The name and recieve frequency are correct, but I have to manually re-enter the tones, the personalities, transmit frequency, and NAC codes. Does anyone know why this is? And is there anything I do to make it work?

You can not drag and drop into FPP units in the XTL/XTS series. Sucks but that is the way it is.
