The head and drawer are not communicating with each other. If this is a new just out of the box unit either it is defective or it has been installed wrong. How are all the connections made?

The drawer should be wired to +12V and ground through the main power plug. Make sure voltage is going to the radio.

The control head has its own power (2 leads) plus a ground of its own. Sounds like the head is powering up fine. Obviously the head and drawer are connected via the CGAI control head cable.

Both should be powered from the same power source.

If you have verified that everything is correctly hooked up and power is making it in correctly give it back to the Motorola dealer to handle.

Right click on the task bar, click on Properties, and check the "Auto-hide taskbar" box. That should help you out. Also, grab the top of the dialog box for syncing and attempt to drag it up as far as you can towards the top of the screen.

Hope this helps.
