MSF5000 CWID only after keyup

We are running an 800 conventional MSF5000 standalone repeater that was not producing any CWID. The squelch pots we adjusted and we now get an ID 5 sec post activation and then every 15 minutes for 1 hour. After the 1 hour the CWID won't trigger again until a field unit actives the repeater. TX RX C1 and FWC 5 are illuminated on the metring panel.
The repeater was producing an ID every 15 minutes until the firmware was updated and numerous defaults occured in the codeplug.

Any help would be appreciated.

The CW ID isn't supposed to ID continuously every so often. It should ID after the initial keyup, then once more after it's idle. If no one else keys it up, it should NOT ID all by itself

If it's IDing every 15 minutes, either there's activity on the input or the squelch is too loose, so the station thinks there's a signal coming and going.

Thank you for the help. Prior to the firmware update it the ID was frequent around the clock. It sounds like it is working correctly and within FCC regulations for it's service.
