Motorola PM400 and Pyramid RSC Controller

I have a VHF PM400 and a UHF SVR200 with RSC board. I only want to have the broadcast of a channel when changed on the UHF SVR repeater. Pyramid said it cannot be done, Has anyone tried this ?

When you change channels via the UHF repeater with the remote channel selector board , the voice tells of the channel you are on, but it transmits it on both radios. We only want it on the UHF repeater .

I don't have experience with that unit, but I do have experience with Pyramid, and if they say something can't be done... I tend to believe it can't be done. Only exception to that is the SVR in use with a TRBO mobile... Evidently they didn't test the 800MHz radios in smartnet mode before they released their product docs, and we found out the hard way they didn't do all their homework... but they were still very accommodating in making it work and their customer support is top notch.
