XTS3000 Power Issue

Post by Squad5 »

Had a Question about a XTS3000 model 3 in the UHF High split. When I turn the radio on, the radio would just turn itself off, even though the volume knob wouldnt be touched. I tried differnent batteries with no avail.

I let the radio sit for about 4 hours and then it would just go away. But the problem is still there most of the time.

I currently don't have the Radio firmware version or anything like that, as the radio is still at work.

Any pointers that can help me out until then would be greatly appreciated

Check in the menu on power options, there is a setting related to soft power off mode.
I never utilized that feature, but it may be causing just the problem you are experiencing.
