When I turn up the volume more than half way, the audio from the radio cuts out all lows - it's really annoying. Is their a setting in the CPS that I can configure to over ride this from occurring?
Thanks,
Ruby

what you're describing isn't a cps setting. have you tried to attach a speaker mic and see if still does it?

Same results with spkr/mic. It's definitely something to do with CPS config - I changed something in the 'Emphasis Selection' (now set to 'De-Emphasis & Pre-Emphasis'), I'll try to revert back to one of the other settings to see if it helps.
Thanks!

Do you have an old default codeplug you can load for testing?

It appears you have a defecive volume control pot, there are dead spots on the pot causing the volume to cut off.
Have it replaced and your problems should end.

IIRC there is a chip capacitor in the volume control circuit that cracks due to excess mechanical force on the volume control.
