On the Intellicharge2 charger, I understand that a steady green is ready to use and a steady red is charging.
But was does the other flashing red and amber lights represent?
I acquire a bunch of HT1000's from where I work and trying to sort out the old batteries for keepers or junk.

Flashing red: Battery is bad order
Flashing yellow: Waiting to charge (battery voltage too low, battery too hot etc)

The flashing red/amber states the battery is depleted and will no longer accept a normal charge.
I have had the same issues with every Circle-M battery I owned, rare on other makes.
This is only my personal note, YMMV.
There should be a sticker on the bottom of the charger that tells you what the lights/actions represent.
