how can I tell if a Quantar has the battery revert option?

Like the subject line says....

The codeplug for the station allows battery type to be selected, but I realize that might not be definitive. Is there perhaps a way to tell by looking at the station?

On the back of the station you will have a place where the DC revert option in the power supply can connect to the external bank of batteries. I took a photo of a 25W Quantar I have here to show you the connector location on the back of the station. You can also see the edge connector on the DC revert board in the power supply itself. You can alternatively pull you power supply out and see if it has the extra connector on it.

No, that is a photo with the revert option.

This power supply has the battery revert option installed. If you want to send me the part # of your power supply I will consult my Quantar service manual(s) to see if yours has the DC revert in it. Most of the supplies you have to remove from the chassis to see the Motorola part #. If you do that then go ahead and see if you have two connectors like below.. The one on the right that is marked as DC revert is the input connector for the batteries.

If the power supply has the extra Bat Revert card/connector then all you need is the female connector added in the frame.

I am not really sure, but if the Battery Revert option shows in the RSS, then the power supply has the REVERT option in it.
