CP 185

I have programming software for a Motorola CP 185. When I try to read the new radio there is an error code CODE PLUG ERROR 1027. Can I get some help.

your gonna need verson 2.01.. radio may need firmware upgrade too..

Iam new to programming Motorola radios. How can I get an updated version and firmware.

Software is only available through Motorola directly.

You need to go to http://businessonline.motorola.com and create an account with credit card info. You can then order the newest version of the software...not sure if you can get access to the firmware if you're not a dealer.
