Programmed my Motorola Sabers and enabled the securenet switch, loaded a key with a KVL T3011DX (for DES modules) and the loader says "PASSED".
When I attempt to transmit the radio (Saber 3) says "Key Failed" with a continuous loud tone, When I flip the switch to secure the radio says "Key 1" or something to that effect.
Did I goof in RSS or forget to enable something? Or am I not loading keys correctly?

XL option disabled in programming ?
Was the battery taken off the radio after the key was loaded (if more than a few seconds key will be lost) ?

It's working (finally!).
I had the XL option disabled and I re-keyed it with a new key and it's holding the key just fine, so the DES modules and working just like they should.
