MTR2000 Audio Routing Prob

Post by WB8JNT »

Have been trying to setup a VHF MTR2000 as Duplex Base Station to use with an external (ham grade) controller as a repeater.
Everything seems to work as it should except any audio that is sent into the wireline controller (4 wire TTN5067) also appears on the output pair creating a feedback loop through the controller.
I've disconnected all but the PTT and audio in from the MTR, placed a buttset across the receive audio pair and still hear the tx input on the output... a little reprogramming and found the same thing true of the audio out on the MRTI connector .. and the TX & Rx ARE on different frequencies :) .
I have PTT set for Wireline, No control type, Aux Tx same as wireline and Full Duplex. Hoping this is some jumper issue on the Wireline board since the book says nothing about any jumpers except P10-17 or something I've missed in the setup.
All the guides I've seen (Repeaterbuilder etc) seem to indicate everything is right but it just won't work.
HELP!
Mike
