CentraCom Gold Elite QCIIB and QCIIE code plans ?

Post by jry »

Is ther any documentation that covers the QCIIB and QCIIE codeplans.

Batlabs has some of the info on QCIIB but nothing on the IIE codeplan.

Trying to translate the dump from the console to the actual tones.

One of them is AFCD QCIIE and another is 6CC1 QCIIB.

Got about 45 of these ..some can be translated using the older info from batlabs but not the above

QCIIB is tone & voice paging Motorola format. 1 second/ 3 second.

QCIIE is tone & voice paging Plectron format. 2.7 second/ .8 second followed by warble alert tone.

The hex code determines the two tones used regardless which format, "b" or "e" , is used.

However, my program doesn't like the AFCD code. Are you sure that is what is being used?

Must be a bug in the conversion program. I did a conversion from the chart and come up with tone A=2932.0 and B=1180.0 for Hex code AFCD.

The other code, 6CC1, comes out to 2932 and 1820.

OK setting up a MCC7500 and need to convert plectron tones to the hex code to set the pagers up in UCM. can this conversion be done from a chart in the gold elite CEB manual? Or is there some other method to accomplish this?
