CDM1550ls+ For link radio

Post by modatking »

All,

Im swapping out a gm300 uhf for a CDM1550 uhf for a customers ham repeater. I essentially need 4 pins worth
of wiring.
1.COS
2.TX audio
3.RX audio
4.PTT

I have the tx and rx audio pins I need COS and PTT. Im using the programmable pin 3 for PTT and its set to external mic PTT (input)

Do I still need the COS and where do pick that up?

Is there any other settings in the accessory tabs or configs in CPS that I need to change?

Its been a while since I interfaced a CDM and for the life of me I can't remember.

Any help would be much appriciated.

What radios do you own?: CDM's, CP's, CM's, and more

Check the CDM section of batlabs.com All of the accessory port pinouts are there and lots of other info.
