Zetron 600 & 620 Units

Hello all,

I have a 640 connected to a 600 unit via serial data connection. The 600 unit is connected via ethernet to the remote 620 units at the transmit sites.

My complication is that at the master site where the 640 is connected to the 600 there is a primary and secondary setup of a 640 to a 600. I don't see any alarm wires or conenctions between the 600 units. The primary 640 is set to answer after one ring, the back up is set to 5 rings.

My question is that both 600's appear to have the same IP address and are connected to the IP network, assumable as a primary and secondary unit. The failover feature is not working and I am concerned that they have the appear to have the same IP address.

Any one have any luck with these units, I am a bit lost. I have the manuals, but the 600 manual is aobut 300 pages wide and not very cohesive.
