E-Bay Repeater Interface Cable

Post by irishlad »

Hey All,

I picked up one of these from eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/REPEATER-Inte ... 27ad749fb7

They didn't come with any instructions. I was told that they should work with GM350's (4 CH).

Has anyone used them before? Got them to work?

Any settings that need changing?

Thanks.

Same as I have for a pair of RADIUS M120/GM300's here. Just make sure you have it right way up (I accidentally burnt out 2 radios stuffing it up since it's not keyed whilst I was learning) and then program the IO ability for the radio to suite the lead (that's the bit I need to test myself still to see which setting it requires).

Did you get it to work? Whats your thought on it? I could you use on of these for a local project but was interested in your review prior to purchasing.

Sorry still waiting to get my hands on a second VHF (or UHF) M120/GM300 so I can test it. I've been looking for a K band M120 for some time now to no avail for this lead.

Just get a repeater cable from Ebay seller mre1032 - it comes with detailed instructions and he stands behind his stuff 100%. We've all talked about his great stuff over and over here on other posts. I can't say enough good things about him as a seller and his products.

Every Motorola hobbyist and tech should be familiar with his offerings.

I have no info on whatever cables you have there. If you go look at a couple of mre1032's auctions, you may find some info about programming settings.
