Have searched the forms and found no information for what need help with.
Picked up recently a motorola R100 repeater and need help with finding locations to pull all signals for wiring to a repeater controller. Life would be easier if it had the Jaux interface. Have found a little info searching the web about how to go about getting the needed signals but all sites came across were not 100% clear or help full in listing exact locations. Most were by trial and error and not real good write ups or good pics of the locations they grabbed from ( more so of pics taken with cheap crappy cameras)
Thanks.

Re: Motorola R100 help
Did you try the R100 page over at Repeater Builder? There is a ton of good information on that page that should answer any interface questions you may have.
Re: Motorola R100 help
The 25 pin DB accessory connector was an option for phone patch and extended local control. You really do not need the accy jack.
What are you trying to interface?

Re: Motorola R100 help
Just looking for good points on the control board to pull the basics for wiring in a controller to the repeater.
Yes looked at the info on repeater builder page for the radio and the one write up on wiring a external controller in wasn't written well in my opinion and the few photos of the locations are crappy and can't make out much from them. It woulda been nice if the guy at the end of the article made a simple grid sheet saying got mic from U801c ect. so a person could understand it better and he shoulda gotten off his lazy keeshter and gone and gotten a quality camera to take the pics with over a cheap pos camer that he used.

Re: Motorola R100 help
There are a lot of articles in the R100 section. Seems you didn't look at the very first one, the R100 overivew:
http://www.repeater-builder.com/motorol ... rview.html
If you read through this extremely helpful article, you'll find the nice, simple 'grid sheets' you're looking for towards the end of the page, detailing everything you need to interface through the RJ12 service adaptor, J3. There are no step-by-step pictures in the article, so you'll have to either refer to the pics in the other article you've mentioned, or figure it out on your own using the available schematics.
We're all looking forward to the high quality pictures you'll provide us once you've completed your project.
**edited to clarify...there are lots of pictures in the overview article, just no step-by-step pictures showing the OP exactly what he needs to do**
