GP68 charger - power supply voltage 12 or 13.8 or 18v?

Post by g8tzl2004 »

I have a real Motorola GP68/SP50 charger - kit number is PMTN4022A which I think means its a HTN9013B with a GP68 adapter insert

I don't have an original power supply.

Can I use my 18v HT1250 18v power supply?

Or should I use a GP300 13.8v PSU?

Thanks

My GP68 charger (HTN9013) has a 13 VDC power supply on it. It's the one that came with the charger originally.

Many thanks. I used my 13.8v supply which worked OK.

I have a few GP-68's in different bands I use for testing the transmit clarity of other radios. The power supply runs 16 volts no load in the cradle measured with a Fluke 87 meter.
