How to remove wide band from license and renew?

How to remove wide band from license and renew?

I have a license that lists both narrow and wide band emissions. I have been told I need to remove wide from the license before renewing the license. What are the steps to remove the wide band?

Log in to ULS and delete the emission designator off each frequency

I saw on FCC site to call 877 number and get a narrow band access code to login. Is this helpful or a short cut? Is there a fee?

No, you need to log into ULS and delete the wideband designator off each frequency. To do that you will need the FRN and password for the license(s)
