APX7000 call alert/paging volume

Post by turtle9832 »

Is there a setting in CPS that will have the call alert/paging tones go off at a preset volume?

We use call alert when an officer is not answering because he/she is napping, or his/her wide waist has turned the volume all the way down.

When the radio is alerted/paged now, the display goes green and the beeps are heard at the volume the knob is set at.

A supervisor would like the volume for this to be preset at a higher volume so that if the officer has accidently turned his volume down or has gone off channel he will hear it.

I prefer it the way it is now. just asking.

Thanks in advance
