Minitor ii retuning after crystal change

Recently accuired an old minitor ii and want to recrystal it for a local frequency, I found the crystal I need and I know how to install it, however I cannot find any information on how to retune the receiver after swapping the crystal, I know I need to adjust the inductor that is next to the crystal on the rf board, but how do I measure the frequency as I tune it?
