Motorola CPS on Windows 8.1 Pro

I have tried everything I can think of and have not been able to install the latest version of Motorola's CDM-HT Pro Series CPS (6.12.09) on my Windows 8.1 Pro machine. I know the download is good as it installed on my laptop without a problem. ANyone have ay suggestions?

I have the latest version of Professional series software running on a Windows Professional 8.1 32 bit computer and it runs without any problems. You said you are having problems getting it installed, do you have any error messages coming up when you try to install it?

No error messages. I double click the .exe file and get the hourglass for maybe 10 seconds the nothing. I'm running 8.1 Pro 64-bit. Maybe that's the issue. I tried running as administrator and got the same thing. I thought I might have figured it out when I disabled my malwarebytes but still no go. I have CPS 6.12.09.

Did you download the software from MOL? It will download as a ZIP file. I have seen some issues with running programs directly from the ZIP file.

CPS does not run on 64 bit Windows.

I can't speak for Windows 8.1 64 bit, but Professional series 6.12.09 will run on Windows 7 64 bit fine. At least it does on my computer.
