ID this coax cable
Several times I have found a strange coax that a customer has installed. This cable is larger than RG58 and smaller than RG6. It looks like RG6 TV cable. It has a very stiff center conductor and foil and wire shield. Connectors for RG8X, RG58 and RG6 do not fit. I could not see anything stamped on the cable. What is the cable and what connectors fit?

Sounds like LMR cable. LMR240 maybe?

Measure (with calipers) the external diameter - that will help narrow it down.
LMR240 is RG8X size, and connectors should be compatible.
I'm thinking LMR200 or a knockoff thereof... .005" bigger than RG58, with its own connector family.
