Motorola Batteries

Post by yardbirdjr »

Hello All!

This is an off the wall question?

I am looking for the best and cheapest place to find Motorola or after market batteries?

I know Motorola sells them, but can't afford there prices.

The last supplier I bought from the batteries were junk.

They want hold a charge even one will not charge in my Motorola Impress Charger. I have to use a different charger to get

it to charge then after a couple of hours the battery is dead again.

Please let me know, because all my portable batteries are in need of replacing.

Thanks

David

Well, there's Centurian and Multiplier if you order from a dealer or off the web. Sometimes Batteries Plus carries specific portable batteries, and depending on the store, they may be willing to rebuild yours. Plug the battery part number into Google, and let it find a source for you.

As they say, there are 3 things to choose from, but you can only have 2. Fast, Cheap, Good quality. What 2 do you want in your batteries you rely on?

The Motorola's are more expensive, but they work and are reliable. They fit properly, don't break when dropped, last a long time.

We have tried after markets, but have always been disappointed.

We are using then in applications where we rely on them. In a hobby application, the requirement to be reliable may not as critical.

If you are looking for OEM batteries there is at least one dealer that posts on this board that offers very attractive pricing. I can say that because I am that dealer. :D

+1 here. Jeff's pricing is so attractive, it's almost like having Kate Upton jump out the box when you get them......
