xts 5000 personalities

How do I change personalities on xts5000r. I originally set each channel with its own person ality and now I want only want only a few. do I have to blank radio and start reprogmming or is there any easy way to do it?

Just delete every personality leaving you with 1 and then start from there.

What is the easiest way to do this. I went to Conventional Personalities and was able to do 255 to 241 but when I went below the "x" was not red. Is there a way to eliminate the old without blanking the radio? and starting to program all my frequencies in again

Does the radio have FPP in it?

If it has FPP then it will keep the first 240 personalities and you won't be able to delete those. You will have to go in and manually edit those to fit your needs.

If you want to reduce the number of FPP channels to say 32 (2zones of 16channels) then go into the FPP zones and untick FPP from your last FPP zone (16 usually to start with I think) then zone 15 and from there you should be able to delete zone 16. Rinse and repeat. Once them zones/channels are deleted you can remove their corresponding personalities as well.

IIRC the last zone always needs to be non-FPP so once the zone prior is FPP disabled that last zone can be deleted and make the prior zone the last/buffer.
