MCS 2000 scan/dpl issue

Post by jamatal »

OK why does scan work ok with members that are pl or carrier but perform poor on dpl rx members in the scan list. Using a simple 4 freq scan, chan 1 being priority, pl decoded members get the regular intermittant check of the priority chan as normal but when a dpl member is active only bits and pieces of the comms com through..changing this dpl member to csq solves the issue but now all traffic is obviously heard...any thoughts...these radios (have ten of them in our fleet) are all acting the same.

Only guessing here but I'd imagine DPL requires a little more processing time to catch the code and check it??
