Hi all
Is there any way to decrease minimum audio level without soldering?
Thanks in advance
Best regards

Re: GM300 minimum audio volume
There is a resistor on the volume control board. Short it out and the volume will go to zero.

Re: GM300 minimum audio volume
Could you please point me to this resistor?
Which one exactly is?

Re: GM300 minimum audio volume
It's the only resistor on the board with the Volume Control and MIC jack. It's a 10 ohm axial-lead resistor. Just short it out.

Re: GM300 minimum audio volume
Why not just remove the pin jump from the rear if you want no volume?

Hi tsunami
I'm not going to permanently disable audio. I would like to have possibility to decrease audio volume to the level closer to "0" using potentiometer.

It works perfectly!kcbooboo wrote:It's the only resistor on the board with the Volume Control and MIC jack. It's a 10 ohm axial-lead resistor. Just short it out.
