Need dual band remote head amateur base station

Post by Bill_G »

A Portland health care provider is rebuilding a hospital with plans to outfit it with new everything including an amateur base station for the EOC group. The requirement is for the base station itself to be in an IDF on the top floor mechanical level for the shortest possible antenna line run, and the remote control head has to be several floors downstairs in a room that has yet to be determined. The preference is for the head to connect to the body via ethernet across their enterprise.

So, any suggestions on make/model to accomplish this? Thx.

Thanks. We're going with an Icom IC7100 using Icom's remote PC application.
