OT:Regency xl2000 question

Post by K7GDM »

I just found my old Regency XL-2000 mobile. I love this old radio and want to retune it to 2 meter service but I need the service manual or repair manual. Is there still someone out there who has these or can supply a link?

Repeater Builder is your friend:
The RH256 manual should be pretty close:

If it's a ten channel unit, you can operate with the jumper cut. If it's a 16 channel unit, you have to put the jumper in, make your changes and then cut the jumper again.

See what happens when you hit Pro-Pri then digit 0

That should put you in programming mode.

I had a wilson 2510 in my car for years and that's how you get into the programming mode.
