Looking to make a battery emlinator from an old battery. I believe that the radio runs on 7.5v however I do not know the amp draw??
Can someone confirm 7.5v and know the amp draw?

From the Basic Service Manual...
Nominal Voltage - 7.5 volts
Range - 6 to 9 volts
Transmit Current Drain (Typical)
700/800MHz - 1250mA
VHF - 1900mA
UHF Range 1 (380-470MHz) - 2100mA
UHF Range 2 (450-520MHz) - 2000mA
Receive and Standby currents are around 220mA and 80mA
