Astro-spectra system 9000 siren

I have a astro-spectra vhf radio with w7 control head . I like to use with systems 9000 siren which I have with the cable from siren
To radio . Issue is the siren dek I have is the motorola dek hln1241d and the interface cable between the dek and radio
Part number 3080248l01 which says is compatible with astro-spectra radios . The cable has a 14 pin connector in one
End which probably goes to radio and the other connector is only 6 pin which to me doesn't look correct to the dek.
Any help would be appreciated

Something sounds off with that cable. It should be six pin on each end if I remember correctly. One plugs into the back of the dek and one plugs into just six of the many pins on the back of the control head.

You can also program the buttons on the W7 to control the siren without a DEK.
