How long should I charge new Minitor II battery?

Probably a dumb question: I just got a new Minitor II rechargeable NiCad battery. How long should I allow this battery to charge? I've got the standard NRN4952A charger that has a slot for the pager and a slot for the battery. Thanks! Have a safe and happy holiday season!

I do mine for at least 16 hours (prefer 24 hours)when they are first charged
