What radios do you own?: XTS5000R, Astro Saber III, I

Hi all, I have a UHF MT2000 top display model, that sometimes, very rarely, when you are finished transmitting, and let go of the PTT button, its still transmitting all by itself! And the light is still on! So, I just change the channel, or shut it off, and its fine. This is, like I said before happens VERY seldom, but it does happen. Anyone have a clue how to fix this annoyance? (forgive me if this is an easy fix problem

There is a known issue with the MTX8000/MTS model platform where if the battery voltage falls below a certain point while transmitting, it will continue to transmit upon de-key. You don't even get a low battery tone. I can duplicate it fairly easily using a variable voltage supply. Give it a try if you have one, you'll see! I believe this won't happen if the radio firmware is less than 2 years old, but I'm not positive on the exact date.
