How to hide trunking personality on GTX P/P?

Post by Jonathan KC8RYW »

Calling all hackers:

Has anyone found a way to hide the trunking personality on a Privacy Plus GTX? I've done it on the LTR model... but the RSS won't let me do it on the Privacy Plus model.

Any tips?

From RSS main menu, press F4 for Change/View.

Press F9 for the Utility Routines, and delete all LTR modes, except
for one.

F10 out of that.

Press F4 for Edit Mode Configuration.

The first mode will be the trunking one.

Move down to where it says "Personality Active:" and select "Disabled"

There you go! Have fun.
