I am trying to set up my W3 UHF rig for echolink but am having trouble with the PTT. I have connected PTT to pin 13 on the D15 accessory socket but earthing that pin does not put the rig into xmit. Are there any internal jumpers I must set to allow this?

Also, just in case, is there any issue with using pin 15 Mic Hot for the xmit audio from Echolink?

Yes, you need to move about 5 jumpers around on the command board to get PTT and mic audio on the accessory connector.
