Need online company advice

Post by dean83 »

Hi Everyone,

Didn't see a place for this elsewhere, so it lands here. Sorry and if it has a proper home please feel free to move it!

I have been looking online at a company to purchase 6 radios to the tune of $4000. I need to know if anyone has experience dealing with this company or if you would go out on a limb and buy from them.

its called http://myradiocompany.com/ and they sell many different brands.

To the mod who approves. please feel free not to post or to PM me if there may be a better way of going about this, I don't want to seem like I am advertising as I am in no way affialiated with this company.

Their website appears semi-legit. I have never dealt with them personally and their is little information on the net regarding other people who have used them before.

If you are ok with purchasing used, might I suggest looking into used-radios.com I have utilized them before. They have pretty good prices and offer free programming of the first 16 channels. Sometimes they can be a bit annoying though.

Myradiomall.com also comes up quite often on the search when it comes to radios.

Just curious why you need to get them on the internet like that? Best price? Remember that with most online deals you won't get any support from them if you have problems. Maybe post here what you're looking for, lots of us work for Motorola dealers.

At 600 and change a piece sounds like your looking at a full line product rather than a Radius ? If so, I belive the full line dealer has territorial restrictions.

Why in the world would you want to buy $4,000 worth of radios online? There certainly are dealers in your local area you could do this deal with, obtain service directly and have control of the situation regarding warranty work, service, etc. etc. etc.
