Hello all. I was curious to see if there is anyway to make the XTS-5000 Type 2 into a Type 3 with the current "in the wild" offerings of CPS and such. I figured it was not possible, but also know I should ask the experts here.. Thanks for the help...

Yes, it allows you to build a codeplug for whatever model with whatever flash (within reason) and then write to the radio.
