Motorola astro saber xts3ooo CPS

So I changed out programing computers to an older laptop with windows 98se for some old dos based rss. I just installed my CPS for my xts3k and it went in no problems but when I try and start it after rebooting it tells me "this program has performed an ilegal operation" then shuts down. Any ideas???

Its ver 05.03 something. I tried reinstalling it no luck same thing. The tuner works not the cps.

OK I have tried everything!!! I have reinstalled and repaired and nothing works. Same message evryime. Anyone have any ideas? Do I need to go back to XP? The cps for my MTS works fine on it.

check the readme file
I dont think w98 is a supported os

Dang!!! I am sol right now. I am 98se or win 7. I guess I will need to get another comp with xp and my old laptop for dos stuff. Picky picky picky moto stuff. lol Thanks

I use the current Astro Spectra/XTS3k/Astro Saber on my WIN7 machince (32 bit) just fine.
