I have not found an answer to this anywhere, but can I use the HLN6285 interconnect board from a dash mount Spectra to turn a D04 Astro Spectra that I bought into a dash mount? The Astro Spectra I bought came in a remote mount configuration though it is a dash mount radio. I know other pieces can be swapped between Astro and standard Spectras, and I just want to make sure the HLN6285 will not brick my radio or control head.

You can definitely use the HLN6285 with an Astro Spectra, you just won't be able to do flash upgrades through the mic jack.
