Can you bend a CDM or Maxtrac 36 to 42 to 35.78 ? I need a replacement radio for a customer and cannot find any 30- 36 radio's.

The MaxTrac will probably work fine down there but you may have to use the SHIFT-NUM method to enter the out-of-range frequencies. If that doesn't work you'll have to hex-edit the MDF file.

You can move the CDM down there with the Waris LAB tool and appropriate Tanapa file.

Or write your own "S" record.

You need Pro LAB, then using the method described here on Batlabs, you modify the "S" record for the radio Tanapa you have by using the de-compiler and compiler programs. It's pretty straightforward, I moved a 403-470 up to 482 where the VCO unlocked.
