The MX 3000 is what known here as the Saber III see: http://www.batlabs.com/saber.html

I understand that the programming software is not the same as the regualr Sabers. Might be worth goign back to the oringal users and see who supported them or consider a brain tranplant with an eBay sourced beat up old SABER. Depending on condition they are a dated but nice radio but only capable of 25 kHz operation.

First, you have to look at the model number, for the supported bandsplit.
Scandinavian and Benelux radios are often, custom made stuff.
For this,you need special RSS.
For the standard MX3000,you should get the MX1000 R02.04.00 RSS
For more information, you can look at my homepage.

The Storno 6000 is a little bit harder to program (needs EPROM burner or some changes and special programming interface)bbut it´s a very good radio too.

Only one of the four radios still have the label with model and serial number
MDH34SAK9109AN
And another radio got a blown fuse, thats not a problem i have a original service manual =)

The Storno 6000 is easy to fix Storno has great support on their web and also one of the radios had an 70cm ham EPROM installed that i can get a copy of, if i need more than one radio =)
